Making Moderate Income Programs Part of a Successful Efficiency Program

October 23, 2009 1:00-2:30pm Eastern

Facilitator: Kara Rodgers, CEE
Experts: Diana Duffy, National Grid; Crystal Manik, Xcel Energy; Suzanne Harmelink, Wisconsin Focus on Energy

What's It About?

Many states run low income weatherization programs to serve residents with limited incomes. Many state and utility efficiency programs pick up where state programs leave off and help moderate income customers take control of their energy bill by helping them to become more energy efficient. During this webinar three experience program managers with established programs will talk about how their programs work and what they’re doing to make them more effective. Such programs can both help residents with limited incomes and help efficiency programs meet their savings targets.

What is Ask the Experts?

This webinar is part of the Ask the Experts series of free workshops presented in webinar format to help new or prospective efficiency program administrators tackle specific energy efficiency program issues. The format is both informative and interactive, so be sure to bring your questions.

Who Should Attend?

Ask the Experts is open to new administrators of energy efficiency programs, state regulators, and employees of CEE members. Contractors and consultants are currently excluded. Others may participate by personal invitation of CEE.

This session will target program managers of new and established efficiency programs at gas and combination utilities. During the webinar, we’ll discuss how low or moderate income programs can be better incorporated into gas efficiency programs. There will be both overviews of what has worked for existing programs and an overview of how utilities within a state communicate with other state agencies and utilities.
