Farming for Savings—Introduction to Programs for the Agricultural SectorDate/Time: April 27, 2010 2:00-3:30pm Eastern What's It About? The agricultural sector accounts for approximately 1% of total U.S. energy consumption, and presents savings opportunities for electric and gas programs across a broad array of fuels and end uses. 22 CEE members currently offer programs serving agricultural customers, throughout North America. This webcast will provide participants the opportunity to hear from experienced program managers with longstanding programs, on measures and approaches to generate cost-effective energy savings from this sector. Presentations will focus on identifying savings opportunities, considerations for program design, program delivery, and lessons learned. Key issues for discussion include how to provide cost-effective outreach and project identification, and barriers to program participation. What is Ask the Experts? This webinar is part of the Ask the Experts series of free workshops presented in webinar format to help new or prospective efficiency program administrators tackle specific energy efficiency program issues. The format is both informative and interactive, so be sure to bring your questions. Who Should Attend? Ask the Experts is open to new administrators of energy efficiency programs, state regulators, and employees of CEE members. Contractors and consultants are currently excluded. Others may participate by personal invitation of CEE. Program planners, designers and implementers serving the agricultural sector will find this session most useful. |
