ENERGY STAR in 2011 and Beyond: Implications of the New EPA/DOE MOUJune 1, 2010 1:00-4:00pm Eastern Facilitator: John Taylor,,
CEE What's It About? The new MOU between DOE and EPA contains a commitment that the federal government will vet an Annual Program Plan with ENERGY STAR stakeholders. EPA has indicated this plan will be shared via web conference in April or May 2010. We anticipate questions about the strategic and practical implications for voluntary program administrators will remain after the web conference. In an effort to ensure CEE members understand the implications of this new plan and have the ability to provide input directly to EPA and DOE in a small in-person setting, we will hold an afternoon workshop on June 1. During this meeting, we will work towards development of consensus recommendations to EPA on behalf of the program administrator industry that will shape the program to advance our shared interests.. What is Ask the Experts? This webinar is part of the Ask the Experts series of free workshops presented in webinar format to help new or prospective efficiency program administrators tackle specific energy efficiency program issues. The format is both informative and interactive, so be sure to bring your questions. Who Should Attend? Ask the Experts is open to new administrators of energy efficiency programs, state regulators, and employees of CEE members. Contractors and consultants are currently excluded. Others may participate by personal invitation of CEE. Managers of local programs for ENERGY STAR products, homes, and buildings; efficiency program portfolio managers; marketing managers; and any member new to CEE will gain the most from this session. |
