Increasing the Market Penetration of ENERGY STAR® Qualified Residential Lighting FixturesJune 24, 2009 1:00-2:30pm Eastern Facilitator: Eileen Eaton, CEE What's It About? While the majority of residential lighting programs are focused on increasing the market penetration of compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs), many are also promoting ENERGY STAR qualified light fixtures. The market adoption of ENERGY STAR light fixtures has proven to be challenging and this session will cover what approaches have been the most successful to date. Four CEE Members (who work in collaboration with the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance) will discuss the findings of a pilot project, which explored different avenues to stimulate the adoption of ENERGY STAR residential light fixtures in the new construction market. What is Ask the Experts? This webinar is part of the Ask the Experts series of free workshops presented in webinar format to help new or prospective efficiency program administrators tackle specific energy efficiency program issues. The format is both informative and interactive, so be sure to bring your questions. Who Should Attend? Ask the Experts is open to new administrators of energy efficiency programs, state regulators, and employees of CEE members. Contractors and consultants are currently excluded. Others may participate by personal invitation of CEE. This session is particularly relevant for efficiency program managers who are either looking to run a fixture program for the first time or improve the success of their current program.
