CEC, AWWA, DOE, EASA, EPRI
In 1995, DOE, EASA, PG&E organized a series of operations and maintenance pumping workshops for Northern California American Water Works Association (AWWA) members. The workshops focused on how to choose motors and pumps, maintenance and operation practices, and motor and pump repair. Following this effort, ASSA partnered with the California Energy Commission (CEC) and utilities throughout the state to offer workshops statewide. From this effort, Pump System Optimization training was developed. Similar training efforts have been introduced in New York, Arizona and Iowa.
