Applying Behavior Insights to Efficiency Programs: Lessons from the Social Sciences

Description: The CEE Behavior Committee and CEE staff have recently completed an overview of behavior insights and tools gathered from across social science disciplines such as psychology, sociology, and public health. CEE staff will open this session with a brief overview of the behavior insights and tools document. This overview will be followed by presentations from CEE members with programs that are applying one or more of these behavior insights.

Who Should Attend: CEE members interested in learning what behavior insights might be useful in planning efficiency efforts and how CEE members have already begun incorporating these insights into their programs.

Target Outcome: From this session’s overview of social science behavior insights and how CEE members are applying them, participants will gain valuable information on how they might incorporate behavior change into their own programs.
