June 18, 2008 2:00-3:30 Eastern

Facilitator: Afroz Khan
Experts: Reid Hart, Portland Energy Conservation, Inc.; Amy Patenaude and Dan Gaherty, Efficiency Vermont; Dan Morehouse, Eugene Water and Electric Board.

What's It About?

This webinar educated participants on proven opportunities in commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC). Starting with an introduction of the commercial HVAC market including CEE efforts in defining unitary air conditioning and heat pump performance specifications as well as the current state of federal standards related to this equipment. Then our experts delivered overviews of their respective programs to share their lessons learned from years of experience in the field. Foundational topics such as defining the savings opportunities and market potential, key program planning and design options, program delivery approaches, and program results were also covered.

What is Ask the Experts?

This event is part of the Ask the Experts series of free workshops presented in webinar format to help new or prospective efficiency program administrators tackle energy efficiency program issues in depth. Hear from top program administrators about how they approached designing effective residential gas heating programs, what worked, and what lessons they learned. The format is both informative and interactive, so be sure to bring your questions.
