What's It About?

This webinar will highlight partnerships between electric and natural gas organizations that offer joint whole house energy efficiency programs. Collaboration on comprehensive whole home programs enables administrators to pursue additional avenues for energy savings and efficiency measures. Within the whole house context, gas and electric utility partnership programs can seize unique opportunities to maximize available resources, reach a greater number of customers, and achieve increased savings through collective efforts. Learn how your organization might establish such partnerships in your local service territory, what the benefits entail, and where the greatest challenges lie.

Speakers will represent both new and existing homes programs, ENERGY STAR and other platforms, and various program design structures. In two presentations, program administrators will discuss the impetus for their collaboration, the specific objectives of their programs, and the delineation of roles and responsibilities. They will review the successes and benefits of their partnerships as well as the challenges and barriers encountered to date. Following these presentations, two discussants will speak briefly about their regional efforts to establish effective partnerships and the models for shared savings that they have developed. There will be opportunities for listeners to pose questions during the webinar.
