    ENERGY STAR provides resources and tools to evaluate and benchmark commercial buildings as well as Guidelines for Energy Management, a strategy that outlines energy-saving opportunities.

    Building Operator Certification (BOC) is a competency-based training and certification for building operators offering improved job skills and more comfortable, efficient facilities.

  • DOE's Building Technologies Program
    DOE's Building Technologies Program works in partnership with states, industry, and manufacturers to improve the energy efficiency of our nation's buildings. The link provides case studies on high-performance buildings, lessons learned and an advanced design guide for small office buildings.

  • California Commissioning Collaborative
    The CCC is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization committed to improving the performance of buildings and their systems. The CCC is made up of government, utility and building services organizations and professionals, and provides commissioning information and resources for providers and building owners.

  • Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)
    The LEED Green Building Rating System® is a voluntary, consensus-based national standard for developing high-performance, sustainable buildings. It addresses existing buildings and new construction.
