You’ve heard over and over about the disruption to the current efficiency paradigm. While energy efficient products are the foundation for saving energy, there is an emerging focus on customer touch and providing solutions. Following successfully giving sponsors tools to raise awareness of motor efficiency, Motor Decisions Matter (MDM) has engaged a marketing company that focuses on energy efficiency, Brand Cool, out of Rochester, New York.

Step one for Brand Cool is to interview customers, specifically the people who make motor and motor systems procurement decisions for their facility. Do they consider efficiency when making motor management decisions? What was their experience participating in an efficiency program? If you want to find out more or have a customer who might be a good candidate, contact Walker Larsen.

Following the development of the marketing plan comes the implementation phase. This is where the fun begins with an updated, targeted communications strategy to better promote motor system management tools and resources to commercial and industrial customers. Stay tuned to see what the sponsors recommend.

About CEE
CEE is an award-winning consortium of efficiency program administrators from the United States and Canada. Members work to unify program approaches across jurisdictions to increase the success of efficiency in markets. By joining forces at CEE, individual electric and gas efficiency programs are able to partner not only with each other, but also with other industries, trade associations, and government agencies. Working together, administrators leverage the effect of their ratepayer funding, exchange information on successful practices and, by doing so, achieve greater energy efficiency for the public good.
