CEE is one of 14 founding sponsors of the Compressed Air Challenge (CAC), a voluntary collaboration of organizations that promote more efficient usage of industrial compressed air.

CAC members include:

  • Industrial users
  • Manufacturers
  • Distributors and their associations
  • Facility operating personnel and their associations
  • Consultants
  • State research and development agencies
  • Energy-efficiency organizations
  • Utilities
The mission of the CAC is to develop and provide resources that educate industry on the opportunities to increase net profits through compressed air system optimization. The Compressed Air Challenge has already developed a series of training sessions to help customers learn more about the fundamentals of compressed air systems. Sourcebooks and fact sheets are also available.

In addition to training sessions, the Compressed Air Challenge has developed a sourcebook that outlines opportunities for system performance improvements. CAC also offers basic information about its projects in a series of Fact Sheets. These documents are available on the Compressed Air Challenge Web site.
