CEE is presenting a series of free workshops as webinars to help new or prospective program administrators learn about specific introductory topics in energy efficiency programs. Workshops are led by CEE member program administrators who have proven insight and experience from running their own programs.
Each class is one and a half hours in length. In addition to addressing sector specific technologies, design tips, and lessons learned, participants will have time to ask questions about their own situations.
Upcoming topics include:
Industrial Motors: Industry runs on motors, and premium efficiency motor programs are quick to get off the ground. This webinar looks at how motor programs are designed, how to offer them as part of an industrial package, advice about working with regulations and reporting requirements, and transition to the new efficiency standards. March 27, 2008, from 2:00–3:30 P.M., EST.
Residential Lighting: How to get started? Experts will discuss common types: CFL programs at big box and hardware stores, and CFL school fundraisers. How do they work, what are the pros and cons of each one, and how cost-effective are they? April 18, 2008, 1:00–2:30 P.M., EST.
Commercial Lighting: How to define the savings opportunity, discover technologies available, and uncover key program considerations.
Residential Gas Heat: A great place for gas programs to start, this webinar gives advice about planning the program kickoff, avoiding pitfalls, engaging distributors and contractors, and taking safety and code compliance into consideration.
