Jess joined the Industrial Team at CEE in May 2009, replacing Toby Ast. He is co-chair of the Municipal Water and Wastewater Committee, and works with Ted Jones and Kellem Emanuele to support the Motor Decisions Matter campaign along with other industrial initiatives.
Jess' previous experience includes consulting and facilitation for the Tennessee Governor's Energy Policy Task Force, and green building consulting with developers of affordable housing at New Ecology, Inc. Prior to his consulting career, he spent several years building houses, cabinetry, and furniture in Boston and Portland. Jess has a Master of City Planning degree from MIT, and a B.A. in Anthropology from Reed College.
