It was unfortunate that CEE members receiving ENERGY STAR® awards in 2020 were unable to be recognized at the ENERGY STAR Awards Ceremony scheduled for April 2 due to the COVID 19 pandemic. The health and safety of CEE members and industry partners is of utmost importance, and as such CEE supports EPA's decision to cancel the event. In response, CEE would like to use this opportunity to highlight the notable efforts of leaders in the energy efficiency industry.
Fifteen leading CEE members, constituting more than 87 million electric and 48 million gas customers throughout the US and Canada, received 2020 ENERGY STAR® Awards in recognition of outstanding contributions to public health and the environment.
Since 1992, ENERGY STAR has been associated with saving American families and businesses more than $450 billion and nearly 4 trillion kWh of electricity. The CEE membership was instrumental in establishing ENERGY STAR and continues to support its adherence to the brand promise throughout the US and Canada. For decades, CEE members have provided industry leadership, advancing the shared interest of energy efficiency and demand response programs in North America.
The EPA presents awards in categories that include: Partner of the Year for Sustained Excellence in Energy Efficiency Program Delivery, Partner of the Year for Program Delivery, Award for Excellence - Data Innovation, and Award for Excellence - Energy Star promotion. Member awardees are listed alphabetically below by award category.
