CEE is a consortium primarily of efficiency program administrators from across the United States and Canada. Members leverage individual efforts by working together to accelerate energy efficient products and services in targeted markets. We are a nonprofit, governed and funded by members. Our expert Board of Directors, drawn from member organizations, strategizes, scopes, and approves CEE work. CEE staff is headquartered in Massachusetts, researching efficiency opportunities and facilitating member work on committees.
Meet Executive Director Ed Wisniewski
Ed Wisniewski became the third executive director of CEE in 2011 after 16 years of ongoing leadership in a variety of positions at CEE. In total, Ed has worked professionally in the energy industry for over 25 years. While leading the development and growth of CEE program staff as deputy director, Ed was instrumental in developing and implementing all of the major program accomplishments of CEE over the last decade. During all of these activities, he has focused on maintaining impeccable standards of care throughout CEE work at a time of rapid growth in our field. Supporting the transition utilities and efficiency providers are making in their business models to a market-driven, data rich, and connected future informs Ed's vision for the future of CEE.
